PayRescue helps recover failed subscription payments, but we do not guarantee any specific recovery rate, amount, or outcome. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your customers, their banks, and card-network behaviour.
2. Your compliance responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that retry attempts and recovery communications sent through PayRescue comply with all applicable rules and laws, including:
- Card-network rules (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.) on retries and account updater usage;
- Your processor's (e.g. Stripe's) terms and acceptable-use policies;
- Anti-spam and electronic-communications laws (e.g. CAN-SPAM, GDPR/PECR, CASL);
- Consumer-protection and debt-collection regulations applicable to you; and
- The agreements you have in place with your own customers.
